The service, in plain English

Internal window cleaning,
done properly —
end to end.

No jargon, no upsell. Just what you're actually buying, when it's worth doing, and why a professional makes the difference.

What it is

Interior window cleaning using the traditional method — applicator, squeegee and microfibre detail — sized to the room. Glass, frames, sills, internal beading and any tracks are cleaned by hand, with floors and furniture protected throughout.

Who it's for

Aimed at homeowners, landlords and lettings agents in Fareham, Gosport, Portchester, Stubbington, Whiteley, Cosham and Havant who want the inside of the glass to match the outside — particularly around move-in, move-out, end-of-build, or pre-photo days.

When you need it

Most often booked as an add-on to an external window clean, or as a stand-alone end-of-tenancy / pre-marketing clean. Properties with conservatories or big rear glazing benefit most — that's where dust and condensation marks build up.

Why professional matters

Pure-water systems are designed for exterior glass. Indoors, traditional method is still the right tool: it's controlled, low-mess, and leaves no streaks in awkward low-light conditions where every smear shows.

What happens if you leave it

Small problem now.
Expensive problem later.

Condensation tide-lines

Internal glass picks up faint mineral lines from condensation. They only really show in low winter light — but they're there year-round.

Dust on the top edge

The top inch of every internal pane collects dust that never gets wiped because nobody can see it day-to-day. It shows on photos and viewings instantly.

Streaks from kitchen spray

All-purpose kitchen sprays leave a film that smears in sunlight. The more you wipe, the worse it gets.

Marks from pets, kids and cooking

Nose prints, finger marks, splatter from the hob and steam off the kettle build up gradually and dull the whole room.

How the job runs

A clear, repeatable
5-step process.

  1. 01

    Confirm access

Quick check of the rooms involved — what needs moving, what needs protecting, parking arrangements.

  2. 02

    Protect floors & furniture

Dust sheets down, sills cleared and protected. Nothing leaves the room dirtier than it arrived.

  3. 03

    Traditional clean

Glass washed with applicator, squeegeed top-to-bottom, edges and corners detailed by hand with microfibre.

  4. 04

    Sills, beading & frames

Sills wiped, internal frames detailed, any tracks brushed out. Marks on UPVC lifted where possible.

  5. 05

    Walk-through

Final inspection together so anything you'd like re-done is sorted on the spot.

What you actually get

Concrete outcomes.
No fluffy promises.

Right tool for the job

Traditional method is still the cleanest, lowest-mess way to do interior glass — no spray drift, no overspray.

Protected interiors

Dust sheets and microfibre work means no water on floors, no mess on furniture, no marks on walls.

Crisp finish on low-light days

Most interior smears only show in winter light. Done properly once, the glass stays clean in any light.

Great for viewings & lets

Sharp internal glass makes rooms photograph brighter — a measurable boost for property listings.

Pet- and child-safe

Mild solution only. No harsh chemicals, no lingering smell after the visit.

Add to your external round

Easiest as an add-on to an existing window round, but stand-alone bookings are welcome too.

Method, materials & detail

The proper standard —
explained.

Interior window cleaning is a different discipline to outside work. The pressure is on finish quality, mess control, and respect for the room — not reach or speed. Here's how it's done properly.

Traditional applicator + squeegee

A low-suds solution is applied with a microfibre applicator, then drawn off with a stainless squeegee in a single fluid motion. Edges and corners are detailed by hand. Done well, this leaves zero streaks even in raking light.

Sill, frame and beading detail

Internal sills are wiped (and treated for any mould spotting where present), UPVC beads are detailed, and any sash tracks are brushed out. Most providers skip this — it's the part that makes the room feel cared-for.

Floor and furniture protection

Dust sheets are laid under every window and absorbent cloths used at the sill line. No water reaches your carpet, no overspray onto curtains, no marks on plaster.

End-of-tenancy & marketing-ready

For lettings and pre-marketing cleans the spec is tighter: tracks brushed, glass photographed under torchlight where useful, and any defects flagged so you're not surprised on the inventory.

Pairs with the external round

Internal cleans are most cost-effective when scheduled alongside an external visit — same trip, same equipment, no extra call-out. Stand-alone visits are still welcome.
